Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami organized an Iftar party today at the Bangladesh China Friendship Conference Center in Dhaka, bringing together political leaders, dignitaries, and prominent figures from across the country. The event began at 5:20 pm under the chairmanship of Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, Honorable Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and Leader of the Opposition in the National Parliament.
The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Qari Belal Hossain and was moderated by Advocate Ahsanul Mahbub Zubair, Assistant Secretary General and Head of the Media and Publicity Department of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami.

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman attended as a special guest
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, Chairman of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), attended as a special guest. Also present were members of the government cabinet, Members of Parliament, leaders of various political parties, members of the advisory council of the former interim government, central leaders of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, intellectuals, journalists, educationists, former judges and senior lawyers, agriculturalists, doctors, Ulama and Mashaykhs, poets and writers, businessmen, and elected student leaders from several universities.
The event highlighted a spirit of unity and dialogue among political and social leaders during the holy month of Ramadan.
